Questions for Your Doctor
A good doctor-patient relationship is important for your health. Communicating well with your doctor will help you manage your heart health and help your doctor understand what the problem is from a medical point of view.

- Can physical activity help me improve my heart health?
- If so, what kinds of activities should I do? What kinds of activities should I avoid?
- Can losing or gaining weight improve my heart health?
- Can changes to my eating habits help me?
- If so, are there certain foods I should eat? Are there certain foods I should avoid?
- Can medications help improve my heart health?
- What medicines am I on right now?
- What are these medicines supposed to do?
- How will I know if the medication is working?
- How often should I take these medications?
- Is there any special time of day I should take my medications?
- What will happen if I dont take the medications?
- What are the side effects of these medications?
- What should I do if I experience these side effects?
- Is there any food or other medication I should avoid while taking this medication?
- Can I drink alcohol with the medication?
